Just saw "Moana" and it was pretty good!
Better than "Frozen" not as good as "Zootopia".
Overall, I liked the songs more than in "Frozen" although there isn't a standout like "Let it Go". Dwayne Johnson was fucking perfect as Maui, an arrogant demi god, and I loved how they used his tattoos as an homage to 2D animation.
Here's my favorite song in the movie, the fact that Johnson isn't that good a singer makes it even better!

Joker is SERIOUSLY overrated.
Saw "Joker" today. It was... good........ it was good.
But I gotta say, all the talk about how "disturbing" the movie is?
WAY overblown! It's nowhere NEAR as disturbing as "Taxi Driver"
or as darkly funny as "The King of Comedy" two Scorsese movies that are
it's most obvious source of inspiration.
It's not even as disturbing as the OTHER Joaquin Phoenix movie
where he lives with his mom... (You Were Never Really Here)
